Job Summary

The Regional Vice President (RVP) provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all branches within the region, ensuring strong financial performance, alignment with corporate strategy, a strong organizational culture, and the development of leadership capabilities across the teams.

Job Description

The Regional Vice President (RVP) acts as the CEO of the region and is responsible for delivering profitable and sustainable growth across various economic cycles. The RVP has full accountability for regional performance, including financial results, market share growth, health and safety, operational excellence, leadership development, and the integration of all business functions under the “One NORS Canada” operating model.

Business Performance

  • Achieve regional revenue, profitability, and growth targets.

  • Increase market share and support business development across the region.

  • Maintain strong financial discipline and ensure the accuracy of financial and operational forecasts.

  • Ensure effective management of inventory, rental operations, and asset utilization.

Leadership and Talent Management

  • Coach, mentor, and develop Branch Managers to strengthen their leadership capabilities and ability to effectively manage their operations.

  • Develop and implement succession plans to strengthen the leadership and talent pipeline.

  • Foster employee engagement and retention while supporting ongoing skills and professional development.

Customer and Market Leadership

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with strategic customers, key accounts, and at-risk customers.

  • Improve Net Promoter Score (NPS) and the overall customer experience.

  • Collaborate with teams nationally to ensure a coordinated approach to strategic and major accounts.

Operational Excellence (Lean)

  • Implement Lean principles and establish a structured and effective operating cadence.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement using methodologies such as PDCA, A3 thinking, and Kaizen.

  • Ensure consistent, effective, and standardized execution of processes across all branches within the region.

Health, Safety and Risk Management

  • Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture focused on achieving zero incidents.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Identify, manage, and mitigate financial, operational, and customer-related risks.
