We are looking for a E-commerce Apps Manager to join our Corporate Information Systems Department based in Oporto (with 3 days of WFH per week).

 

What's the challenge?

  • Ensure technical ownership of the e-commerce platforms and their integrations;

  • Define and manage the technology roadmap for the Webshop and digital sales channels;

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new features;

  • Define and evolve solution architecture, ensuring quality, security, scalability and maintainability;

  • Monitor platform performance and availability and manage the application lifecycle;

  • Promote best practices in development, documentation and software quality;

  • Coordinate internal technical teams and/or external partners.

What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in application development or management, preferably in e-commerce or digital sales;
  • Experience coordinating technical teams and/or external partners;
  • Experience developing e-commerce solutions, with strong knowledge of Django (mandatory) and knowledge of React;
  • Knowledge of SQL; knowledge of SAP (MD/SD), DevOps and CI/CD is a plus;
  • Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills;
  • Proficiency in English.
