We are looking for a Mechanic to join our After Sales team in Keetmanshoop .
What's the challenge?
- Deliver high‑quality repair and maintenance services, including fault‑finding, troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance as instructed by the Workshop Manager and/or Workshop Foreman.
- Analyse, interpret, and evaluate service repairs to determine the correct repair approach.
- Perform mechanical (technical) overhauls and major repairs, ensuring excellent execution quality and adherence to procedures and OEM standards.
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge and hands‑on experience to diagnose and repair breakdowns effectively.
- Conduct road tests when required to verify repair quality and vehicle performance.
What do we expect from you?
- Grade 12 High School Certificate and Level 3 Qualification in Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrical Qualification.
- At least 5 years of proven technical knowledge with hands-on experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical & electronic issues and diagnosis.
- Aptitude for manual work.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Responsible, autonomous, dynamic and organized.
- Customer-oriented with ability to communicate with customers effectively (if needed).
