We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Technician - Leadhand to join our Service team in Acheson, Alberta
What's the challenge?
As our Lead Hand (shop and field), you’ll play an important role in helping the Service Supervisor with day-to-day planning, organization, and workflow. You’ll take on major diagnostics and repairs, and be hands-on with daily shop repairs. You’re counted on to provide top-quality leadership and service, while following the company’s established policies and procedures. In this role, you’ll also help develop and coach apprentices.
What do we expect from you?
Experience Required:
- Red Seal or Journeyman Technician Certification
- 2-5 years related experience
- Solid knowledge of equipment systems and repairs
- Good communications skills with customers, peers and supervisors
- Basic knowledge of computer applications
- Committed to continuous learning
- Strong technical background and capable of communicating with technicians and customers regarding parts and service
- Health & Safety Knowledge – OH & S rules and regulations guidelines
Education Required:
- Red Seal Technician certification
**May be asked to work evenings and weekends**
